How to Apply

1. Before You Start

   Before filling the form:

   • Scan your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the required format.

   • Keep a valid email ID and mobile number active until the recruitment process is complete. All communication will be sent there.
   • Do not share your email or phone number with anyone.
   • Optionally, you can use DigiLocker to share verified documents (Aadhaar, marksheets, etc.) easily.

2. Registration Process

   1. Go to www.sebi.gov.in, open the Careers section, and click on "Apply Online" under "SEBI Recruitment Exercise – Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) 2025."
   2. Click "Click Here for New Registration."
   3. Enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID.
   4. You'll get a Provisional Registration Number and Password via email and SMS.
   5. If you can't finish filling the form, click "Save & Next" to continue later.
   6. Double-check all details before clicking "Complete Registration." No edits are allowed afterward.
   7. Ensure your name and father's/husband's name match your certificates.
   8. Upload your photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the given specs.
   9. Review all details using the Preview tab.
   10. Click "Payment" to pay the fee, then "Submit."
   11. Make sure all details are correct. SEBI will not refund fees for mistakes made by the applicant.
   12. Avoid last-minute submissions — apply and pay early.

3. Payment of Fees

   • Pay the fee online only after completing registration.
   • Use Debit/Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
   • Wait for confirmation — don't press back or refresh during payment.
   • Once payment succeeds, an e-receipt will be generated. Print and save it.
   • If no e-receipt appears, log in again and repeat the payment process.
   • After payment, you can print your application form with fee details.

4. Upload Guidelines

   Photograph

   • Recent color passport-size photo (4.5cm × 3.5cm).
   • White or light background, looking straight at the camera.
   • No caps, sunglasses, or shadows.
   • File size: 20KB–50KB, 200x230 pixels, format: JPG/JPEG.
   • You'll also need to capture a live photo using your webcam or phone: Click "Capture Photo" or scan a QR code to upload a new photo.
   • Do's: Use good lighting, look straight, clear face.
   • Don'ts: Don't wear caps or glasses, or use blurry/dark images.

   Signature

   • Sign in black ink on white paper.
   • Size: 10KB–20KB, 140x60 pixels, JPG/JPEG format.
   • Use your own running handwriting (not all caps).

   Left Thumb Impression

   • Use black or blue ink on white paper.
   • Size: 20KB–50KB, 240x240 pixels, JPG/JPEG format.
   • If you don't have a left thumb, use your right one.

   Handwritten Declaration

   • Write in English, on white paper with black ink.
   • Size: 50KB–100KB, 800x400 pixels, JPG/JPEG format.
   • Must be written by you only (not typed or written by someone else).
   • Do not use capital letters.

5. Scanning Tips

   • Set scanner to 200 dpi, True Color mode.
   • Crop the image edges neatly.
   • Save files as JPG/JPEG.
   • You can use MS Paint or Picture Manager to resize/crop files to required sizes.

6. Upload Process

   • While filling the form, click the upload links for each document.
   • Browse, select, and upload each file.
   • If an error message appears, check file format and size.
   • Preview the images — re-upload if unclear.
   • Your application will not be accepted unless all four documents are uploaded correctly.

7. Important Notes

   • Blurred or unclear images will lead to rejection.
   • Double-check uploads before submitting.
   • After submission, print your completed application form for your records.
